Medical Record (EMR) |

What the Paramedics, EMTs & Doctors see:
the Medical
Emergency Record Display |
|
The information on the
Rescue Me USB drive is
unalterable in the emergency display mode, but it can be viewed
and a report can also be printed by the emergency staff. That way
you are in safe hands with accurate information which can even be
handed over, as a print-out, to people without computer access at the time.
(Like
the ER staff which might be receiving you.) They'll know what
allergies you have, what medication you take, what immunization
and transplants might be involved and last but not least: They'll
have information about preexisting conditions from the diagnosis
screen.
Even your images, like the last chest x-ray etc., if
you decided to include them with your emergency information, can be
viewed by clicking on them. Most images can even be zoomed into, or
out of. |

Main Screen
|
| This is
the very first screen the EMT / paramedic, or doctors will see. I t
holds an overview of the Lifesaver USB Emergency Medical Record, so
they don't have to find specifics while they are busy
performing the emergency treatment. All the pertinent information is
present on this first screen, giving the EMT a "No hands necessary"
view of your important medical information. After you have been stabilized, or
whenever more information is needed, they can click the Continue
Button to get to the remainder of the information. |

|

After clicking the big Continue button, the
complete information becomes available. The Medication screen
displays all medications that you take, ascertaining that no "bad
mix" of medications occurs during treatment. |

Clicking the next tab displays the Allergies in
the Lifesaver USB flash drive medical emergency record, making
sure you won't be exposed to anything you are allergic to during
your treatment. |

The Diagnosis screen lets the
professionals see what pre-existing conditions you might have, or,
what previous conditions existed. These can include physical as
well as mental aspects, as determined by you during entry of this
information. One can also zoom into the image by clicking it's
thumbnail representation. Zooming into the image (up to
400%) is supported. (see below) |

Implants and Immunizations are
shown on the next tab. Any implants (from dentures to pacemakers)
are shown.
Also any and all of the inoculations etc. received. It will also
show when the last time Immunization time was and when the next
one should be.
Here the emergency staff can get informed about the implants you might
have, such as pacemakers and even get the model and serial numbers
of the device (in the printed report), prosthesis' etc, in case they need a replacement.
Your immunizations may determine treatment solutions depending on
how they might influence the treatment, or regiment's course. |

On to the Emergency Contacts
screen: Here the staff can find out who to contact relating to
your admittance. This will inform your family, or whoever else you
have on the contacts list, about your current whereabouts and
condition. Since your address and residence are NOT displayed
here, only the emergency contacts can supply this information. Not
having the residence visible to strangers protects you, or your
loved one owning this EMR, from stalking etc. (in case this
Lifesaver USB EMR drive should be lost.) |

The Family History shows the
emergency staff pre-existing conditions, that might even be of
genetic nature. It will guide them to possible solutions, or
treatment courses that might have been different if this
information is not known beforehand. |

Identifying Marks let's you
enter tattoos, scars, eye color, or anything else that could make
identifying the bearer of the Lifesaver USB drive recognizable in the worst case scenario. Images can be inserted and zoomed
into just like on the Diagnosis screen. |

won't even take you in unless you have insurance. This screen
alone can mean the difference between life and death. If it is
known that you are insured, the closest hospital will
gladly admit you having this information... |

Documents and Miscellaneous.
Here the staff can see all supporting documentation you inserted
into the EMR. From "Do Not Resuscitates" to lab reports, anything
you want the treating staff to know can be visualized here. The
emergency staff can click any thumbnail image in the scroller to
view it larger and even zoom into the item up to 400%. |

The Print Icon let's the
emergency personnel print out a complete medical record, sorted
and in chronological order, page by page. No lengthy finding your medical
records with some other service provider, instant information at
hand which could save your life, as a tangible, physical paper
record. It can be delivered with you arriving at the hospital if
the EMTs have a printer on board. Below you see a sample: |

The complete history can be
delivered right along with the patient! No mistaking who the
documents belong to, even if someone dropped them on the floor,
because they also have the patient's picture on top of every page.
The documents have page numbers
and are sequentially collated with a running total. No missing
pages, no mistaken pages. All the information, right there with
the patient.... |
